Wednesday 3/23/11

Today students learned that the compartmentalization of eukaryotic cells allows for specialization. The compartments are known as organelles. Students began an assignment to learn about the different parts of cells. Click on the document below. The assignment is due tomorrow by the end of class.

Today students studied the cell theory and compared prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells.  If you were absent, please be sure to get the notes from the PowerPoint presentation below and write them on page 67 of your INB.

Today we discussed the answers to the biochemistry test taken several days ago.  Please glue your graded test to page 58 of your INB. 

Students also completed a word splash about cells and started a vocab foldable which is due on Wednesday.  See PowerPoint presentation below.

Today students turned in notebooks. 

Students in all periods except 3rd watched some of Disney Nature Earth.  3rd period honors students conducted additional enzyme experiments of their own design.
